ONE Esports Singapore Major will reportedly be first Major of 2021 Dota Pro Circuit
The Dota Pro Circuit is already deep into the first season of its 2021 regional league debut, and we now have confirmation that PGL and ONE Esports are going to be running the first Major of the year in March. PGL and ONE Esports have confirmed Singapore Major is making a comeback.
The first season of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 is nearing the business end, and there is still plenty of Dota 2 action coming up. According to the latest reports, GL and ONE Esports will be hosting the first Major of 2021, the Singapore Major.
While both organizations are yet to confirm this, the main page for Singapore Major is live on ONE Esports webpage. It contains some basic information, which includes sponsors, media partners, teams & prizes.
The event was originally set to take place last year from 20th June to 28th June 2020 but was unsurprisingly canceled due to the pandemic. Instead, the Dota Pro Circuit last year was substituted with regional leagues as LAN games are not possible, and it is not possible to play online between different regions without significant ping delays.
