The registration for the Toyota GR Velocity Esports Championship is now open to all Malaysians aged 14 and above.

The fastest Malaysian driver will represent the country at the GR GT Cup Asia Pacific Qualifiers.

The championship will require racers to undergo a time-trial qualification round, with only the top 40 drivers advancing to the quarterfinals.

The top 20 drivers will then duke it out in the semi-finals for the final top 10 positions in the Grand Final, bringing them one step closer to being crowned Malaysia’s fastest sim racing driver.

The Grand Finals will take place on August 6 and 7. You can join in the action at the 1 Utama Shopping Centre or watch it live online.

If you are interested in signing up, you can find more information here. And to sign up, head to the registration page here. You gotta hurry, because slots are running out fast.

Anyway, the registration is free, so grab this golden opportunity as the legendary driver Ayrton Senna once said, “If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you’re no longer a racing driver.”
