E3: What We Know About the Annual Gaming Event

Annual E3 Conference

The E3 is a prestigious event that includes an exhibition floor for developers, publishers, and manufacturers to showcase titles and products for sale in the upcoming year. Before and during the event, publishers and hardware manufacturers usually hold press conferences to announce new games and products.

Over the years in the gaming industry, E3 has always been the most sought-after event by all forms of media all over the world. Some of the grandest gaming announcements were made in the E3, for example, the reveal of Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil 7, and new generations of Play Station

E3 2021 Will be Taken Online

After skipping 2020 for obvious reasons, E3 is still scheduled to return this June as some kind of all-digital event. Additionally, there are many rumors surfacing claiming that some elements of the show would be placed behind a paywall, with GeForce Now-powered streaming demos.

When it comes to exhibitors who will be showcasing their new projects, Xbox, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Capcom, Konami, Take-Two Interactive, Koch Media and Warner Bros. Games have already confirmed they’ll be attending. As for now, there’s been no word on participation from big parties such as Sony, EA, and Activision Blizzard. Especially Sony’s absence isn’t particularly strange, as they’ve not participated in E3 anymore since 2019.

E3 2021 will also feature co-streaming which will enable you to watch along with your favorite streamers, while also promising there’ll be numerous interactive activities you as a fan will be able to take part in over the course of the live stream. More details are expected to come out in the following month.

This year’s event is rumored to be held June 15 – 17, 2021. It’s expected to occur in Los Angeles.
