South America, Western Europe, and South East Asia meets their regional champion for the first tour of 2021 – 2022 Dota Pro Circuit

Previously, after having the Winter Major cancelled – Valve announced that instead of a large LAN tournament held to feature all teams across the world – the last time a gathering of this scale was hosted was during The International 11 where Team Spirit took the crown. Valve has announced that regional finals would be hosted instead.

Just like the other Valve-organized tournament, the regional finals would award DPC points and prize winning to each teams. The participants are the top-4 teams in all Tier 1 division, with there being six regions as a whole. The award system are as follows:

  • Champion: $50,000 USD & 250 DPC Points
  • Runner-up: $25,000 USD & 150 DPC Points
  • 3rd place: $15,000 USD
  • 4th place: $10,000 USD

The winners of the South American Regional Finals is Beastcoast. The winners of the South East Asia Regional Finals is BOOM Esports, and the winners of the Western Europe Regional Finals is Gladiators.

Furthermore, Valve has announced that the new gameplay patch 7.31 will be released on the Wednesday following the conclusion of the regional finals to be played in China, North America, and Eastern Europe.
