2021 – 2022 Dota Pro Circuit Standings

Leading up to the second major of the season, here are the latest DPC Rankings

As the culmination of the Spring Tour, the top teams from Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Southeast Asia, South America, and North America are going to compete for their share of $500,000 and 3,430 Dota Pro Circuit points from May 12 to 22. Certain teams like Team Spirit, Gaimin Gladiators, and TSM could almost clinch an invite to TI11 if they manage to place well.

Before looking into the Major, let’s look at the big picture and review the Dota Pro Circuit format. Since the implementation of the Dota Pro Circuit format, the top 12 teams of the DPC points leaderboard by the end of the second Major will receive a direct invitation to The International.

This means that at the current stage of the season, the teams that can directly qualify for The International are:

  • PSG.LGD
  • Gaimin Gladiators
  • TSM
  • Thunder Awaken
  • Evil Geniuses
  • BOOM Esports
  • beastcoast
  • Team Liquid
  • Fnatic
  • Team Spirit
  • OG
  • Quincy Crew

The total distribution of the teams according to regions are 1 China team, 3 EU teams, 2 SA teams, 2 SEA teams, 1 EEU team, 3 NA teams. One main takeaway from the distribution is the rise of South American Dota, from being considered an inferior division a few years ago to a significant force these days.
